Summary

Create a new video draft with specified canvas dimensions for editing via the Jianying (CapCut) API.

Inputs

• jsonParameters — Provide all creation parameters as a JSON object, overriding the individual width and height settings.
• width — Set the video canvas width in pixels; default is 1080.
• height — Set the video canvas height in pixels; default is 1920.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the created draft's details returned from the Jianying API

The response contains draft metadata as JSON. Using jsonParameters overrides width and height inputs.

Examples

Example 1: Create a draft with default 1080x1920 canvas

Specify only resource as Draft, operation as Create, optionally adjust width and height.

Example 2: Create a draft with custom parameters in JSON

Provide all creation parameters within JSON format in jsonParameters input to overwrite individual dimension inputs.
