Summary

Sends a text message to a MAX messenger user or chat via POST /messages, optionally with inline keyboard buttons, formatting, reply reference and silent delivery.

Inputs

• userId (required) — Recipient ID. A value starting with '-' is sent as chat_id (group/channel); otherwise as user_id (personal chat).
• text (required) — Message text.
• addButtons — Enable inline keyboard. When on, shows Button mode.
• buttonMode — 'simple' (visual rows of buttons) or 'json' (raw keyboard array).
• buttons — Simple mode: rows of buttons. Each button has text and type (callback, link, request_contact, request_geo_location, message). Callback type uses callback data as payload, link uses url, message uses payload text. Empty rows are skipped.
• inlineKeyboard — JSON mode: array of rows of button objects, e.g. [[{"type":"callback","text":"...","payload":"..."}]]. Must be valid JSON or the item errors.
• additionalOptions — Optional collection: format (markdown/html), replyToMessageId, disableLinkPreview, silentMessage (sent as notify=false).

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the JSON response from the MAX API for the created message.

Retries up to 5 times with increasing delay if the API reports an attachment-not-ready error; other errors are thrown. With Continue On Fail enabled, a failed item outputs { error: message } instead.
