Summary

Provides OCI Generative AI embeddings for documents and queries, for use through the node’s AI Embedding output. Uses the selected on-demand model and the configured compartment, falling back to the tenancy when the compartment is blank.

Inputs

  • Compartment ID — OCI compartment OCID for embedding requests. If blank, the node uses the tenancy OCID from the OCI credentials.
  • On Demand Model Name or ID (required) — Select or supply the OCI Generative AI on-demand model to use; the model list is filtered to models that support text embeddings. Requires OCI API credentials.

Output shape

An AI Embedding connection that provides document and query embeddings to connected AI nodes.

Document embedding requests discard falsy entries and are sent in batches of up to 90. They use the SearchDocument input type; query embeddings use SearchQuery. Both disable truncation. The node does not emit regular n8n items.
