Summary

Send input JSON data to an internal n8n subworkflow trigger via an HTTP POST request and return the subworkflow's JSON response for each input item.

Inputs

• Trigger Name (required) — Specifies the name of the LocalSubfluxTrigger node in the same workflow to invoke.
• N8N Base URL (required) — The base URL of the n8n instance (e.g., http://localhost:5678).
• Timeout (seconds) — Maximum time to wait for the subworkflow response before timing out.
• Use Production URL — Determines whether to post to the production webhook path (/webhook/) or test webhook path (/webhook-test/).

Output shape

a list of JSON objects, each corresponding to the response from the subworkflow trigger for each input item

For each input item, the node sends its JSON data as POST body and returns the JSON response. On connection errors, it throws errors referring to connection or trigger existence issues. If continueOnFail is enabled, error objects are returned instead of failing the node.
