n8n community nodes for embraceableAI - Conclusion generation via OpenAI-compatible API and new Conclusion API with automatic polling

Documentation

@embraceableai/n8n-nodes-core

n8n community nodes that integrate with embraceable.ai. This package provides two nodes:

  • embraceableAI — the Conclusion API and OpenAI-compatible API for generating policy-compliant, structured conclusions from case descriptions and policies.
  • INFINITY (by embraceable Technology) — retrieve relevant information from, and upload documents to, your Knowledge Collections (retrieval / RAG).

📚 Documentation: For comprehensive setup instructions, usage examples, and API details, see the embraceableAI n8n Community Node Documentation.

⚠️ App (Preview) Environment: These nodes are configured for the App (Preview) environment to help you learn and explore the API. For production use cases, access to additional models, or custom deployments, please contact embraceableAI to discuss your requirements.

Embraceable's core principles are reliability, transparency and controllability: these nodes are built to make it easy to supply explicit policies and structured case descriptions so outputs can be validated and audited.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Features

  • Conclusion API — Request and wait for a conclusion with structured goal, details, and policy blocks
  • OpenAI-Compatible API — Use the OpenAI schema for conclusion generation
  • INFINITY — Retrieve — Query a Knowledge Collection and get the matching content chunks (each chunk as its own item)
  • INFINITY — Upload — Upload a document into a Knowledge Collection, optionally waiting for the ingest job to finish
  • Dynamic dropdowns — Models, Knowledge Collections, and Knowledge Stores are loaded automatically from your account
  • Usable as an AI-agent tool (usableAsTool)

For detailed feature documentation, see the embraceableAI API Documentation.

⚠️ Caution: Complex use cases may result in timeout exceptions within these nodes.
Consider implementing an HTTP-Request node with a custom timeout.

Installation

For detailed installation and setup instructions, see the embraceableAI n8n Community Node Installation Guide.

Quick start:

  1. Install the community node: @embraceableai/n8n-nodes-core
  2. Configure your API credentials (see Credentials below)
  3. Start using the nodes in your workflows

For general n8n community node installation, see the n8n community nodes documentation.

embraceableAI Node — Operations

The embraceableAI node provides two operations:

  1. Conclusion API: Request and Wait for Conclusion — Create a conclusion request and automatically poll until completion. Uses structured goal, details, and policy blocks. See the Conclusion API Documentation for details.

  2. OpenAI Compatible API: Request Conclusion with OpenAI Schema — Generate a conclusion using the OpenAI-compatible endpoint. See the OpenAI-Compatible API Documentation for details.

Both operations require:

  • Model — Automatically loaded based on your API key (see Available Models)
  • Goal — The primary objective to be accomplished
  • Details — Context and information about the case
  • Policies — Hard rules and constraints that must be followed

For detailed operation documentation, see the embraceableAI n8n Community Node Documentation.

INFINITY Node — Retrieval & Upload

The INFINITY (by embraceable Technology) node works with your Knowledge Collections. It uses the same credential as the embraceableAI node.

Retrieve

Query a Knowledge Collection and return the matching content chunks.

  • Knowledge Collection — Loaded from your account (searchable dropdown), or provide an ID via an expression
  • Query — The search query
  • Advanced Options — Retrieval Strategy (agentic_simple / simple), Match Mode (strict / balanced / overview), Limit, Timeout

Each result chunk is emitted as its own item, carrying retrievalId and applicationId as context. Field keys are normalised — an internal p_ prefix is stripped (e.g. p_title → title).

Upload

Upload a document (from an incoming binary field) into a Knowledge Collection.

  • Knowledge Collection — as above
  • Input Binary Field — Name of the binary property that holds the file (default data)
  • Wait for Completion
    • Off (default) — returns immediately with the jobId ("fire and forget")
    • On — polls the ingest job until it finishes (done → success, error → the node fails)
  • Advanced Options
    • Knowledge Store — the target index; hidden by default. When a collection has only one store it is used automatically ("Default"); pick a specific one here when several exist.
    • Force OCR, File Name (override the document name), Poll Interval, Max Wait Time

On an API error the node surfaces the exact status and message (including the API's validation errors). By default the node fails on a 4xx/5xx; enable Continue On Fail to receive the error as a data item (status, message, errors, responseBody) and keep the workflow running.

Credentials

The nodes require an embraceableAI API key (Access Token) and a Base URL. The same credential (embraceableAI API) is shared by both the embraceableAI and INFINITY nodes.

For the App (Preview) Environment:

For Production Use:

  • Contact embraceableAI to obtain production API credentials
  • Custom Base URLs will be provided for production deployments

When creating credentials in n8n:

  • Paste your Embraceable API key into the Access Token field
  • Leave the Base URL at the default https://app-preview.embraceable.ai for App (Preview), or use your production URL if provided

For detailed authentication information, see the embraceableAI Authentication Documentation.

Compatibility

Tested without any problems on n8n version 1.117.3

Usage

For comprehensive usage examples and best practices, see the embraceableAI Documentation.

Conclusion (embraceableAI node):

  1. Add the embraceableAI node to your workflow
  2. Select your operation (Conclusion API or OpenAI-Compatible API)
  3. The Model field will automatically load available models based on your API key
  4. Fill in Goal, Details, and Policies
  5. Run the workflow

Retrieve / Upload (INFINITY node):

  1. Add the INFINITY node to your workflow
  2. Choose Retrieve or Upload and select a Knowledge Collection from the dropdown
  3. Retrieve → enter a Query; Upload → point Input Binary Field at the file to ingest
  4. Run the workflow

Key Points:

  • Models, Knowledge Collections, and Knowledge Stores are dynamically loaded — no need to enter IDs manually
  • The Conclusion prompt format is explicit and designed for policy compliance
  • Full transparency: compliance with policies can be verified in the App (Preview) Console under "Logs"
  • For production use cases or custom requirements, contact embraceableAI
