The Kinetune community node for n8n: lyric videos and Spotify Canvas loops from your songs, as workflow steps. It covers the same operations as the Kinetune app and API.

Install

In a self-hosted n8n: Settings → Community nodes → Install, enter @kinetune/n8n-nodes-kinetune.

Credentials

Create a Kinetune API credential:

• API Key: an organization API key (kt_live_…) from the API page in the Kinetune app.
• API Base URL: https://kinetune.com (the default).

Operations

• Account: get the account and credit balance, get the options (formats, Look categories, background sources, prices)
• Organizations: list the organizations of the key's creator (with their role; current is the key's own), create one they own. The key needs the organizations:read or organizations:write scope, ticked when it's created; it keeps acting for its own organization, so create an API key in a new organization to work there
• Artists: list (search by name, limit and offset), create, get, rename, archive; list, add and delete artist photos; set the artist picture (a square cut from one of their photos)
• Songs: list (by artist, search by title or artist name, analysis status, sort by title or newest, limit and offset), upload (audio + square cover art), get, rename, archive, get the analysis, analyze again
• Looks: list (by library, category, lyric style, and the song's artist to leave out Looks that show another artist), get, rename, delete, publish or unpublish; upload your own background; search Pexels stock photos and clips, then pass one as the Stock Photo/Video ID of a New Look or Canvas instead of the director's pick
• Videos: quote, create, get, list, cancel, retry, delete (lyric videos and Canvases)

Artist and song fields are searchable pickers: From List searches as you type and loads more as you scroll (songs show as "Title — Artist", and the song for a quote or video lists only analyzed songs), By ID takes an id or an expression.

A New Look leaves the singer out unless you turn on Show the Artist in the Background: it needs an AI image or AI video background, a private Look, Show Cover Art off and photos of the artist, and that Look then only serves the artist's songs.

Creating a video spends credits. Quote it first: the quote is the exact number of credits, and creating with that quote id charges only when the video is delivered. To continue a workflow when a video is ready, set its callback URL to an n8n Webhook node; deliveries are signed with the Kinetune-Signature header.
