n8n-nodes-apple-app-store-product-api

An n8n community node that fetches full Apple App Store product details by App Store ID: title, developer, description, version history, price, ratings, screenshots, in-app purchases, supported languages, privacy cards, and sample reviews. It is backed by the Apple App Store Product API on Apify and bills per result, so there are no subscriptions and no minimums.

What it does

Give the node one or more Apple App Store IDs (or product page URLs), and it returns one item per app with the full product record: developer, description, pricing, ratings, screenshots, version history, in-app purchases, privacy details, and a sample of user reviews. It also works as an AI Agent tool, so an agent can look up app metadata on demand.

  • Look up any iOS, iPadOS, or macOS app by numeric App Store ID or by pasting its App Store URL
  • Fetch up to 100 apps per run, one result per ID
  • Pick the country store to control which regional product page you get
  • Toggle sample reviews and related-app lists on or off
  • Choose how much data to return per app: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields

Installation

Follow the n8n community nodes installation guide:

  1. In n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes.
  2. Select Install.
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-apple-app-store-product-api as the npm package name.
  4. Agree to the risks of using community nodes, then select Install.

After it installs, the Apple App Store Product node appears in the nodes panel.

n8n Cloud only allows verified community nodes. Until this node is verified, install it on a self-hosted n8n instance.

Credentials

You need a free Apify account and an API token.

  1. Sign in to the Apify Console.
  2. Open Settings > Integrations and copy your Personal API token.
  3. In n8n, create a new Apify API credential and paste the token.
  4. Use the credential's Test button to confirm it works.

The node also supports Apify OAuth2 if you prefer to connect that way.

Operations

App > Get returns full product details for one or more App Store IDs.

Parameter Description
App Store IDs or URLs One or more numeric App Store IDs or product page URLs, separated by commas or new lines. Required.
Country Store Two-letter country code (for example us, gb, jp) selecting the App Store region. Defaults to us.
Include Sample Reviews Include the small sample of reviews Apple shows on each product page. On by default.
Include Related App Lists Include the "You May Also Like" and "More By This Developer" lists. Off by default.
Output How much data to return: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields.

Output

Each app is returned as its own n8n item. The API returns more than ten fields per app, so the Output parameter lets you choose how much to return:

  • Simplified (default): a compact object with app_id, title, snippet, developer_name, category, price_text, in_app_purchases_available, rating_average, rating_count, age_rating, link, and lookup_country. This mode is also used automatically when the node runs as an AI Agent tool, to keep responses small.
  • Raw: every field the API returns for each app, using the original field names below.
  • Selected Fields: pick exactly which fields to include.

  3. Ask "What is the current rating and price of app 284882215 in the UK store?" The agent calls the node (in Simplified mode) and returns the answer.

Pricing

This node calls the Apple App Store Product API on Apify, which is billed pay-per-result with no subscription and no minimums. You pay a small setup fee per run plus a per-app fee for each product returned. Apify also includes a free monthly usage tier that covers typical volumes. See the Actor page for current rates.
