An n8n community node for deterministic raw-MIME SMTP submission and idempotent IMAP Sent archival.

Operation

The node validates a canonical Message-ID already present in the supplied raw MIME, restricts the SMTP envelope to the approved recipient, submits the exact MIME once, captures sanitized acceptance metadata, discovers the IMAP SPECIAL-USE Sent folder, searches by exact Message-ID before APPEND, and verifies exactly one archived copy.

SMTP acceptance and Sent archival are independent states. An archive failure after SMTP acceptance returns DELIVERED_ARCHIVE_PENDING_REPAIR with retrySmtp=false. Archive-only repair never transmits SMTP again.

Credentials

The node uses n8n's built-in smtp and imap credential types. Credentials are selected in n8n and are never passed through ordinary node parameters or output data.
