Summary

Retrieve a secret from AWS Secrets Manager using its name or ARN, with optional JSON parsing.

Inputs

• secretName (required) — The name or ARN of the secret to retrieve
• parseJson — Whether to parse the secret value as JSON (defaults to true)

Output shape

array of items, each with a json property containing secretName, secretValue, versionId, and createdDate

If parseJson is true and the secret string is valid JSON, secretValue becomes a parsed object; otherwise it remains the raw string. When parseJson succeeds and yields an object, its own properties are spread into the returned json object.
