Summary

Append entries to a Redis Stream using XADD.

Inputs

• main (required) — Incoming data items. Each item triggers one XADD operation; the item’s JSON is used as the payload only when Payload Mode is YAML/JSON and the Payload (YAML/JSON) field is empty, or when Include Other Input Fields is true.

Output shape

main

Returns one output item per input item. If Include Other Input Fields is false, the output contains a single result field with {payload, _stream, _id}. If true, the output merges the input item’s JSON with that result under a result field.

Examples

Example 1: Add a simple key‑value entry to a stream called `orders:new`

Set Event Name to orders:new, Payload Mode to Key‑Value, add a pair with Key orderId (type String) and Value from an expression, leave Max Stream Length at default 100.

Example 2: Store a JSON payload as a single `data` field

Set Event Name to events:audit, Payload Mode to YAML / JSON, leave Payload (YAML/JSON) empty so the incoming item’s JSON is used, enable Include Other Input Fields to keep the original data alongside the result.
