Summary

Runs the Brave AI Mode actor for each incoming item’s configured search query, using the specified country and language, then returns the actor’s dataset results in the chosen output format.

Inputs

  • Search Query (required) — Query to fetch a Brave AI answer for.
  • Country Code — Two-letter country code for the search; defaults to us.
  • Language Code — Two-letter language code for results; defaults to en.
  • Output — Choose Simplified (default), Raw, or Selected Fields.
  • Fields to Include — Fields to retain when Output is Selected Fields; defaults to query, AI Mode Present, Markdown, and References.
  • Authentication — Choose Apify API Key (default) or OAuth2 credentials.

Output shape

A list of JSON items, typically one per actor dataset result for each input item.

Raw returns each result unchanged. Selected Fields returns only chosen fields that exist in the result. Simplified returns query, aiModePresent, overview (from markdown), references reduced to title and link, relatedQuestions, country, and language. When used as an AI tool, output is forced to Simplified. The actor runs to a terminal status before its dataset is fetched; errors stop execution unless Continue On Fail is enabled.
