Overview

This node triggers a workflow via a dynamically generated random URL webhook. It listens for HTTP requests on a webhook path that is randomly created and stored in the workflow's static data. The node supports listening for either GET or POST HTTP methods, as specified by the user. When the webhook is triggered, it captures the incoming request body data and passes it as JSON to the workflow for further processing.

1. Use case: Automatically trigger a workflow when an external service sends a transcription result via a webhook POST request.
2. Example: A transcription service sends a POST request with transcription data to the node's webhook URL, which then triggers the workflow to process and store the transcription.

Troubleshooting

• Ensure the webhook URL is correctly used by the external service to send requests; otherwise, the workflow will not trigger.
• If the HTTP method used by the external service does not match the configured HTTP Method property, the webhook will not trigger.
• Check that the workflow static data is accessible and not cleared, as it stores the random webhook path.
