Documentation

n8n-nodes-chatflow

Community nodes for Chatflow: send and receive WhatsApp,
Telegram, and Instagram messages, and automate Instagram comments.

Credentials

Each credential is bound to one Chatflow n8n integration:

Field Description
Token API token from Chatflow → API Access
Flow ID Flow ID shown in the n8n integration created inside Chatflow

The channel is selected in Chatflow. The node resolves WhatsApp, Telegram, or
Instagram automatically from the Flow ID, so there is no channel selector in n8n.
Create a separate n8n integration and credential for every channel/flow you want
to automate.

The current node remains compatible with credentials created on the legacy
lk.chatflow.kz platform. Existing legacy workflows do not need a new token or
Flow ID after upgrading the node.

Chatflow

The Chatflow action node supports:

  • Send Text
  • Send Image
  • Send Video
  • Send Audio
  • Send Document
  • Instagram: List Comment Posts
  • Instagram: List Post Comments
  • Instagram: Reply to Comment
  • Instagram: Send Private Reply

For Instagram Direct, pass the conversation_id emitted by Chatflow Trigger
into Recipient / Conversation ID.

For Instagram comments, use post_id and comment_id from the trigger payload.
A private reply follows Instagram's one-time comment private-reply restrictions;
it is not an unrestricted Direct message operation.

Chatflow Trigger

The webhook trigger supports:

  • Incoming message
  • Delivery status
  • Authorization status
  • Application status
  • Incoming WhatsApp call
  • Outgoing message from API
  • Outgoing message from phone/operator
  • Instagram comment received
  • Instagram conversation started
  • Instagram message read
  • Instagram message edited
  • Instagram message deleted/unsent

The output includes normalized fields such as platform, event_type,
conversation_id, chat_id, message_id, sender_id, sender_username,
post_id, and comment_id, plus _raw with the complete Chatflow payload.

If no trigger events are selected, Chatflow processes all supported events.
Chat/group restrictions are applied by Chatflow for message events.
