n8n-nodes-cloudinary-uploader
An n8n community node for uploading media to Cloudinary via a manually-built multipart request, designed to avoid ECONNRESET errors on large files.
Installation
Follow the n8n community nodes installation guide, or install manually:
npm install n8n-nodes-cloudinary-uploader
Credentials
Requires a Cloudinary API credential:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Cloud Name | Your Cloudinary cloud name |
| API Key | Your Cloudinary API key |
| API Secret | Your Cloudinary API secret |
| Default Upload Preset (Unsigned) | Optional; used when Upload Mode is "Unsigned" and no preset is set on the node itself |
Operation
The Cloudinary Uploader node uploads a file and supports:
- Source Type
- Binary Data — uploads bytes from a previous node in the workflow (e.g. a video merge step)
- Remote URL — has Cloudinary fetch a publicly accessible URL directly (e.g. another API's output URL)
- Resource Type — Video, Image, Raw, or Auto
- Upload Mode
- Signed — uses your API Key/Secret
- Unsigned — uses an Upload Preset instead (no secret needed for the request itself)
- Folder — optional destination folder in your Cloudinary media library
