n8n-nodes-cosmicephemeris

Current boundary (2026-10-05): canonical version 0.2.0 provides forty-two bounded connector operations targeting live R231, and n8n-nodes-cosmicephemeris@0.2.0 is registry-published. The 0.1.x paragraphs below preserve predecessor-package source history.

Predecessor version 0.1.37 added electional criterion repair-hardening regret audit as the forty-second operation; its matching service route is live.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.35 provides forty bounded operations, adding electional criterion repair-hardening Pareto audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.34 provides thirty-nine bounded operations, adding electional criterion repair-hardening audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.31 provides thirty-six bounded operations, adding electional criterion repair-coverage audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.30 provides thirty-five bounded operations, adding electional criterion repair-hierarchy audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.29 provides thirty-four bounded operations, adding electional criterion repair-overlap audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.28 provides thirty-three bounded operations, adding electional criterion repair-distinction audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.27 provides thirty-two bounded operations, adding electional criterion repair-impact audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.26 provides thirty-one bounded operations, adding electional criterion robust-repair audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.24 provides twenty-nine bounded operations, adding electional criterion Shapley audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.23 provides twenty-eight bounded operations, adding electional criterion budget Pareto audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.22 provides twenty-seven bounded operations, adding electional criterion budget regret audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted source version 0.1.18 provides twenty-three bounded operations, adding electional criterion pair audit. It is not published or deployed.

Customer-hosted n8n community node source for Cosmic Ephemeris deterministic calculations. Source version 0.1.17 provides twenty-two bounded operations: birth chart, natal context, event calendar, customer-defined event-rule search, convention comparison, birth-time sensitivity, chart robustness, civil-time audit, chart-input readiness, house-system readiness, house-placement stability, aspect-policy stability, house-boundary proximity, location-precision audit, location-transition scan, chart uncertainty envelope, electional robustness audit, electional tolerance frontier, electional feasibility audit, electional resolution audit, electional sampling phase audit, and electional criterion omission audit.

Canonical version 0.2.0 and its cumulative electional reliability operations target the live R231 service and are registry-published.

Install and configure

Install n8n-nodes-cosmicephemeris through your self-hosted n8n community-node controls after reviewing the package and lockfile. Create an Cosmic Ephemeris credential with one 64-character hexadecimal server-side API key from https://cosmicephemeris.com/api-keys.html. Use a narrowly scoped key and a small monthly key budget. Never put the key in workflow JSON, browser code, prompts, URLs, or model-visible fields.

The node accepts at most ten items per execution, a JSON object no larger than 128 KiB per item, one fixed operation from its visible list, and an optional calculation receipt. Calls execute sequentially, follow no customer-controlled URL, and do not retry. Each admitted item consumes its operation’s normal quota unit even if the later calculation fails or times out.

Security and support boundary

The published connector has no bundled or direct runtime dependencies. n8n-workflow is a host-provided peer dependency: operators must run a currently supported, patched n8n release and audit the complete host installation. A synthetic standalone npm install may auto-install that peer and report host-tree advisories; those advisories do not originate in the connector, but they still matter to the security of the deployed n8n instance.

The package contains only integration code; it does not include Cosmic Ephemeris datasets, calculations, interpretations, credentials, or hosted infrastructure. n8n is a third-party project and is not operated by Cosmic Ephemeris. Deployers are responsible for their n8n instance, secret storage, access control, updates, logs, and workflow behavior. See https://cosmicephemeris.com/docs-developer-platform.html#integrations for the current service boundary.
