🎣 Digistore24 IPN Trigger — zero-config webhooks

No manual IPN setup

You do not have to create the IPN connection in the Digistore24 backend.
When you activate a workflow, the trigger calls ipnSetup and registers its own webhook URL for you.

Configuration

IPN Name	yes	Name the connection gets in Digistore24
Product Name or ID	no	Limit to specific products. Empty means all products
Categories	no	affiliations, custom forms, e-tickets, orders
Transactions	no	Which events to receive, see below
Timing	no	before_thankyou or delayed
SHA Passphrase	no	Passphrase for signature validation
Newsletter Send Policy	no	end_policy_send_always, end_if_not_optout, end_if_optin, end_if_optout

Supported transactions

Defaults when left empty: categories orders, transactions payment,refund,chargeback,payment_missed, timing before_thankyou.

💡 Example Use Cases

🧾 Order Fulfilment

Digistore24 IPN Trigger (on_payment) → create the customer in your CRM → grant course access → send a welcome mail.

🔁 Refund and Chargeback Handling

Digistore24 IPN Trigger (on_refund, on_chargeback) → revoke access → update your CRM → notify the support channel.

📉 Failed Payment Recovery

Digistore24 IPN Trigger (on_payment_missed) → send a dunning mail → wait → Purchase: Get to check the status → stop the rebilling if it stays unpaid.

📊 Daily Revenue Report

Schedule Trigger → Statistic: Get Daily Amounts → format → post to Slack.

🤝 Affiliate Onboarding

🛠️ Installation

Option 1: Install via n8n Community Nodes (Recommended)

1. Open your n8n instance

2. Go to Settings → Community Nodes

3. Install:

   n8n-nodes-digistore24
   

4. Restart n8n

Option 2: Manual Installation

npm install n8n-nodes-digistore24

Restart n8n:

npm start

Option 3: Docker

docker run -it --rm \

Place the node inside /data/custom.

🔐 Authentication Setup

1. Generate a Digistore24 API key

1. Log in to Digistore24
2. Go to Settings → API
3. Create a new API key
4. Copy the key

See the Digistore24 API key documentation for details.

2. Add credentials in n8n

1. Go to Credentials
2. Create new → search for Digistore24 API
3. Paste your API Key
4. Hit Test — the node calls listAccountAccess to verify the key

The key is sent as the X-DS-API-KEY header on every request.

npm run lint:all     # both of the above

lint:scan runs the exact rule set used by npx @n8n/scan-community-package against the working tree, so violations surface before publishing instead of after. It installs the scanner into scripts/.scan-tools/ on first run.
