n8n-nodes-easychat

An n8n community node to post messages to Easy Chat
(chat.easyhive.pro) as the Easy Bot — the drop-in replacement for the Slack
"Send a message" node, for moving EasyHive automations/alerts off Slack.

Install

In n8n: Settings → Community Nodes → Install and enter:

n8n-nodes-easychat

(Or, for a self-hosted instance, npm install n8n-nodes-easychat in your n8n
custom nodes folder.)

Node — "Easy Chat"

Send Message

  • Channel: channel name (e.g. geral) or its UUID. The Easy Bot auto-joins
    the channel on first post.
  • Message Text: supports markdown — **bold**, _italic_, lists, code.

That's it. Point your existing Slack-alert workflows at this node instead.

How it works

The node calls POST {baseUrl}/api/bot/message with
Authorization: Bearer <secret> and { channel, text }. The message appears in
Easy Chat in real time, attributed to the Easy Bot.

Build (for development)

npm install
npm run build

Outputs to dist/. Point n8n's N8N_CUSTOM_EXTENSIONS at this folder, or
publish to npm.
