Event EmitterInstall

Summary

Emit an event with a specified name and JSON payload using a chosen channel (currently Redis).

Inputs

• channel — Select the channel mechanism to emit the event (currently only Redis is supported).
• eventName (required) — Specify the name of the event to emit and listen to.
• payload (required) — Provide the JSON data payload to include with the emitted event.

Output shape

a single list of items, each corresponding to an input item, with the original data plus potential error information if emission failed per item.

If emission fails for an item and the node is set to continue on failure, an error object is included for that item; otherwise, execution stops with an error.
