Documentation

n8n-nodes-expedify

An n8n community node for Expedify.

It talks to Expedify's public /v1 API. Nothing in the Expedify product needs to change for
this package to work.

What's in it

Expedify Trigger — starts an n8n workflow when something happens in your CRM. It registers
an outgoing webhook on your Expedify account when the workflow is activated, and removes it
when the workflow is deactivated. The event list is loaded live from your account, so it stays
correct as Expedify adds events.

Expedify — read and write CRM records: contacts, companies, deals, tasks, notes,
activities, products and deal payments. Create, get, get many (with paging and free-text
search), update, delete.

Setup

  1. In Expedify, go to Settings → API Keys and create a key. It starts with agx_.
  2. In n8n, add an Expedify API credential and paste the key.
  3. Leave Base URL as https://api.expedify.ai unless you are on a staging or self-hosted
    instance.

The credential test calls GET /v1/webhooks/event-types, so a green tick means the key and its
scopes both resolve.

Install

Community nodes panel in n8n, or:

npm install n8n-nodes-expedify

Develop

npm install
npm run build
npm run lint

To try it in a local n8n:

npm run build
npm link
cd ~/.n8n/custom && npm link n8n-nodes-expedify

Release

Do not publish from your machine. n8n rejects locally-published packages at verification
(rule in force since 1 May 2026). Cut a GitHub release and .github/workflows/publish.yml
publishes to npm with a provenance statement.

Before the first release, set up auth on npmjs.com — either a trusted publisher pointing at
this repo and publish.yml, or a granular access token stored as the NPM_TOKEN Actions
secret.

Event names

Expedify event names are deliberately mixed singular and plural: contact.created but
tasks.created, notes.created, deal_payments.created. The trigger node loads them from
GET /v1/webhooks/event-types and passes them through verbatim, which is the only thing that
works — the subscription match is exact.

Repository

Source of truth for this package is integrations/n8n/ in the private expedify/expedify-ai
repo. This public repo is the publish mirror — npm provenance cannot be generated from a
private source repo, so releases are cut from here. Sync changes out of expedify-ai; do not
edit them here first.
