Summary

Uploads a file to fal.ai storage from binary input data and returns a URL with file metadata.

Inputs

• apiKey (required) — Fal.ai API key. Can be provided directly or use an expression to get it from a field (e.g., {{ $json[fal-ai-key] }})
• binaryPropertyName (required) — Name of the binary property that contains the file to upload

Output shape

Each processed input item returns a main output item with json containing url, fileName, and mimeType of the uploaded file.

Examples

Example 1: Upload a base64-encoded file from binary data property named 'attachment'

Set binaryPropertyName to 'attachment' and provide apiKey directly or via expression. Input item binary must have { attachment: { data: '' } } or { attachment: { id: '...' } }.
