Flixly

Generate images, video, audio, and chat completions via the Flixly AI API.

Actions6

Media (Image / Video / Audio) → Generate (Wait for Result)

AI-generated

Summary

Submits an AI media generation (image, video, audio, music) to Flixly and waits until it finishes, returning the final task record including its output URL.

Inputs

  • Model (required) — Flixly model id, e.g. flux-dev, veo-3-fast, nano-banana-2 (default flux-dev).
  • Prompt (required) — Text prompt describing what to generate.
  • Task Type — Override the task type (text/image/video to image/video, text to speech, music generation). Default Auto-detect omits it so Flixly infers it from the model.
  • Input Parameters — Model-specific inputs: aspect ratio, resolution, duration, image URL, video URL, audio URL. Sent as the input object only if at least one is set.
  • Webhook URL — If set, Flixly POSTs a signed completion event to this URL, overriding any default on the API key. Can be a Flixly Trigger node URL.
  • Polling Options — Interval (Seconds, default 2) between status checks, and Max Wait (Seconds, default 600) before giving up.

Output shape

One item per input item, containing the Flixly generation JSON (id, status, and output URL when completed) as returned by the API.

POSTs to /api/v1/generate. If the response status is already completed or failed, it is returned directly. Otherwise the node polls GET /api/v1/generations/{id} at the set interval until the status is completed or failed. A failed generation is returned as normal output, not thrown, so check the status field downstream. If Max Wait elapses, or no task ID is returned, the node throws an error. With Continue On Fail enabled, the output is {error: message} for that item. API errors are raised as NodeApiError.

Examples

Example 1: Generate an image and pass its URL to the next node

Model: flux-dev; Prompt: 'A cat wearing a top hat, oil painting style'; Input Parameters: Aspect Ratio 1:1; defaults for polling.

Example 2: Animate an existing image into a video

Model: veo-3-fast; Task Type: Image to Video; Prompt describing the motion; Input Parameters: Image URL and Duration 5s; Max Wait raised to 900.
