The operation uses a temporary Ethereal email account that auto-expires after 48 hours. Emails are not delivered to real inboxes but can be viewed via the preview URL or by logging into the provided Ethereal web portal. The returned 'receivedEmail' field attempts to fetch the sent email from the Ethereal IMAP server; this may not be immediately available and is subject to network timing.
