Documentation

n8n-nodes-flowera

This is an n8n community node. It lets you use Flowera in your n8n workflows.

Flowera is an AI agent platform for customer conversations. You design an agent flow visually — prompts, tools, conditions, knowledge bases, WhatsApp and Instagram channels — and Flowera runs it. This node calls those flows from n8n, so a workflow can hand a message to a Flowera agent and use its reply in the next step.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation

Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.

In short: go to Settings → Community Nodes → Install, enter n8n-nodes-flowera, and confirm.

Prerequisites

This node runs flows that live in your own Flowera workspace — it does not ship any agents of its own. Before the node is useful you need:

  1. A Flowera account — sign up at flowera.ai. The getting started guide covers signing up and setting up a workspace.
  2. At least one flow built in Flowera, ending with a Direct Reply node.
  3. An API key from Settings → API Keys — see the API keys guide.

Flowera has a visual builder for the flow itself: prompts, tools, conditions, knowledge bases, and WhatsApp or Instagram channels. This node is the bridge that lets n8n call one of those flows.

Operations

Flow

  • Run — send a message to a flow and return its reply.
  • Get Many — list the flows in the workspace the API key belongs to.

Credentials

You need a Flowera account and an API key.

  1. Sign in to Flowera and open Settings → API Keys.
  2. Create a key and copy it. A key is scoped to a single workspace.
  3. In n8n, create a new Flowera API credential:
    • Base URL — https://portal.flowera.ai, or your own domain if you self-host Flowera.
    • API Key — the key you copied.
  4. Click Test to confirm the credential works.

If a flow has an API key assigned in Flowera, only that key can run it. Assigning one is recommended — a flow with no key assigned can be run by anyone who knows its ID.

Compatibility

Requires n8n 1.60 or later. Tested against Flowera's hosted platform and self-hosted deployments.

Usage

Reply to a message with a Flowera agent

Add the Flowera node after any trigger, pick a flow from the Flow dropdown, and map the incoming text into Message:

[Webhook] → [Flowera: Run] → [Send reply]

The reply is available downstream as {{ $json.output }}.

Make sure your flow replies

output carries whatever your flow's Direct Reply node sends. End the flow with a Direct Reply node and point its Message at the node that produced the answer:

[Start] → [Assistant] → [Direct Reply]

A flow without a Direct Reply node still runs — it just returns an empty reply. If output is empty, this is almost always why. Turn Simplify off to inspect agentFlowExecutedData and see what each node produced.

Keep a conversation going

Every run starts a fresh conversation by default. To let the agent remember earlier turns, open Options and set Session ID to a value that is stable per customer — a phone number, a chat id, or a user id:

Session ID: {{ $json.from }}

Use Flowera as a tool for an n8n AI Agent

This node can be attached to an AI Agent's Tool input, so the agent can call a Flowera flow on its own when it needs one.

Raw responses

Simplify is on by default and returns output, question, chatId, sessionId, chatMessageId and executionId. Turn it off to also receive agentFlowExecutedData, the full per-node execution record — useful when debugging which branch of a flow ran.
