Starts the workflow when a Flowly CRM event occurs

Flowly CRM Trigger

Summary

Starts a workflow when the selected Flowly CRM event fires, by registering a webhook subscription in Flowly CRM and emitting the received payload as workflow items.

Inputs

  • event (required) — The Flowly CRM event to listen for (e.g. contact.created, opportunity.stage_changed, task.completed, activity.deleted). Covers created/updated/deleted for contacts, organizations, opportunities and tasks, plus opportunity stage change, task completion, and activity created/deleted. Defaults to contact.created.
  • crmId — Restricts events to a specific CRM, chosen from a list loaded from the Flowly CRM API (GET /crm). Leave empty ("All CRMs") to receive events from every CRM.

Output shape

One workflow item per webhook call, containing the JSON body POSTed by Flowly CRM (the event payload). The body is passed through unchanged.

Requires flowlyCrmApi credentials (base URL and API key). On activation the node POSTs to /webhook-subscriptions with the n8n webhook URL, the selected event, and metadata (source, workflowId, nodeId), and stores the subscription ID in static data. On deactivation it DELETEs that subscription, ignoring errors. If the stored subscription no longer exists, it is re-created. The webhook responds immediately on receipt (responseMode onReceived). Only one event is subscribed per trigger node.

Examples

Example 1: Send a Slack message when a deal moves to a new pipeline stage

Event = Opportunity Stage Changed; CRM = a specific CRM; connect the output to a Slack node.

Example 2: Sync every new contact from any CRM to a mailing list

Event = Contact Created; CRM left empty (All CRMs); follow with a mailing list node.

Example 3: Create a follow-up in another system when a task is completed

Event = Task Completed; CRM empty or selected; map payload fields into the next node.
