n8n FTIR.fun Community Package

This directory contains a repo-side community-node package for FTIR.fun.

Included:

• package.json
• tsconfig.json
• credential definition with X-API-Key authentication
• executable node implementation that calls:
  • POST /parse-spectrum
  • POST /ftir/analyze_spectrum
  • POST /ftir/reports
  • GET /ftir/reports/{task_id}
  • POST /ftir/explain_peak_assignments
  • POST /ftir/find_spectra
  • GET /ftir/result/{result_num}

Current verification boundary:

• This is now a callable repo-side node package, but it is still not proof of publication in the n8n community catalog.
• Local recognition is verified when n8n is launched with:
  • N8N_CUSTOM_EXTENSIONS=/home/bob/projects/ftirfun/distribution/n8n/package/dist
  • and n8n export:nodes then exposes:
    • CUSTOM.ftirFun
    • CUSTOM.ftirFunTool
• Repeatable verifier:
  • bash /home/bob/projects/ftirfun/deploy/verify_n8n_custom_extension_runtime.sh --runtime-dir /tmp/ftirfun-n8n-runtime --user-folder /home/bob/.n8n --extension-dir /home/bob/projects/ftirfun/distribution/n8n/package/dist
• Tarball install into the normal community-node path is also proven:
  • install n8n-nodes-ftirfun-0.1.1.tgz into ~/.n8n/nodes
  • n8n export:nodes then exposes:
    • n8n-nodes-ftirfun.ftirFun
    • n8n-nodes-ftirfun.ftirFunTool
• Build now also copies required node assets into dist/, including:
  • dist/nodes/FTIRFun/ftirfun.svg
• Remaining unproven layer:
  • n8n-managed install/DB registration in installed_packages / installed_nodes
• Test against the final live FTIR.fun public URL before release.
