n8n-nodes-generate-report
This is an n8n community node. It lets you fill a docx file with data using placeholders.

For this node this package was used: https://www.npmjs.com/package/easy-template-x
For more info on it's use please have a look overthere.
The Modded version's start and end tag for normal data are « » instead of the standard {{ }}
The tags for lists/containers are the same as default.
n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.
Developer

My name is Bram and I am the developer of this node.
I am an independant consultant and expert partner of n8n.
My nodes are free to use for everyone, but please consider donating when you use my nodes.
This helps me to build and maintain nodes for everyone to use.
If you are looking for some outside help with n8n, I can of course also offer my services.

Developed for Energy SOAR - Security orchestration, automation and response tool.
Installation
Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.
For the convert to PDF functionality you need to have Libre Office installed on the server.
Operations
- Fill in placeholders of a DocX file.
- Convert to pdf with Libre office, keep in mind that Libre office should be installed on the server. When using Docker it needs to be installed inside the image.
Compatibility
Version 0.2.0 uses only public n8n node APIs and supports n8n 2.x.
| n8n version | Validation | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 2.0.3 | Compiled against its exact n8n-workflow@2.0.1 dependency |
Supported |
| 2.31.5 | Built and tested against n8n-workflow@2.31.3 |
Supported |
| Other stable 2.x releases | Covered by the >=2.0.1 <3.0.0 peer dependency and public API contract |
Supported |
| 1.x | Not part of the current test matrix | Not guaranteed |
| 3.x and later | Outside the declared compatibility range | Not yet supported |
The node supports n8n's database, filesystem, memory, and external binary storage
through getBinaryDataBuffer() and prepareBinaryData(). The value in Template
Binary Field must match the incoming binary field name, such as data ortemplate.
PDF conversion additionally requires a working LibreOffice installation in the
same runtime or Docker image as n8n. DOCX generation does not require LibreOffice.
