n8n-nodes-glassdoor-reviews-api

An n8n community node that collects Glassdoor company reviews and returns them as structured items: company name, overall rating, the sub-ratings, pros, cons, employment type, publish date, and more. It is backed by the Glassdoor Reviews API on Apify and bills per result, so there are no subscriptions and no minimums.

What it does

Give the node one or more Glassdoor company review URLs, and it returns one item per review with the company name, the overall star rating and each sub-rating, the reviewer's pros and cons, employment status and type, the publish date, and a plain-language summary. It also works as an AI Agent tool, so an agent can pull reviews on demand.

  • Collect reviews for one or more companies in a single run
  • Cap the number of reviews per company and how many days back to look
  • Choose how much data to return per review: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields

Installation

Follow the n8n community nodes installation guide:

  1. In n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes.
  2. Select Install.
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-glassdoor-reviews-api as the npm package name.
  4. Agree to the risks of using community nodes, then select Install.

After it installs, the Glassdoor Reviews node appears in the nodes panel.

n8n Cloud only allows verified community nodes. Until this node is verified, install it on a self-hosted n8n instance.

Credentials

You need a free Apify account and an API token.

  1. Sign in to the Apify Console.
  2. Open Settings > Integrations and copy your Personal API token.
  3. In n8n, create a new Apify API credential and paste the token.
  4. Use the credential's Test button to confirm it works.

The node also supports Apify OAuth2 if you prefer to connect that way.

Operations

Review > Collect returns the reviews for one or more companies.

Parameter Description
Company Review URLs One or more Glassdoor company review URLs, separated by commas, spaces, or new lines. Required. Up to 100 per run.
Max Reviews per Company Maximum number of reviews to return per company, 1 to 1000.
Days Back How many days of reviews to collect, for example 30.
Output How much data to return: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields.

A Glassdoor company review URL looks like https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Google-Reviews-E9079.htm. Overview URLs are also accepted.

Output

Each review is returned as its own n8n item. The API returns more than ten fields per review, so the Output parameter lets you choose how much to return:

  • Simplified (default): a compact object with result_type, companyName, overallRating, employmentType, employmentStatus, reviewSummary, pros, cons, datePublished, reviewUrl, and summary. This mode is also used automatically when the node runs as an AI Agent tool, to keep responses small.
  • Raw: every field the API returns for each review, using the original field names below.
  • Selected Fields: pick exactly which fields to include.
