Summary

Searches for short videos matching a required query and returns one n8n item per result. The node starts an Apify actor run, waits for it to finish, retrieves its dataset, and shapes each video according to the selected output mode.

Inputs

• Search Query (required) — Query to search for.
• Location — Optional location to run the search from.
• Country Code — Optional two-letter country code for the search.
• Language Code — Optional two-letter language code for results.
• Device — Device profile to emulate: desktop, mobile (default), or tablet.
• Safe Search — Whether to filter explicit results: active or off (default).
• Maximum Pages — Number of result pages to fetch; defaults to 1.
• Output — Choose Raw to return each result as received, Selected Fields to return chosen fields, or Simplified (default) for title, channel, source, duration, link, clip, and position.
• Fields to Include — For Selected Fields output, choose from channel, clip, duration, link, position, query, result_type, source, and title. Defaults to title, channel, source, duration, and link.
• Authentication — Apify API key (default) or OAuth2 credentials.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one per video result.

Raw output preserves each dataset item. Selected Fields includes only requested fields that exist in the item. Simplified output contains title, channel, source, duration, link, clip, and position; fields may be undefined when absent from a result.
