Happ Trigger

Starts the workflow when new Happ chats or messages appear

Happ Trigger

AI-generated

Summary

Polls Happ for new chats or messages on the configured schedule and emits newly detected items to start the workflow. For message events, optionally limit polling to one chat or filter messages by role.

Inputs

  • Poll Times (required) — One or more schedule entries controlling how often the trigger polls. Supports minute, hour, day, week, month, every-X-minute/hour, and custom cron schedules; defaults to every minute.
  • Event (required) — Choose New Chat to poll for chats, or New Message (default) to poll for messages.
  • Chat ID — For New Message, provide an ID to poll that chat's messages. Leave empty to check up to the first 100 chats; this makes an extra API call, and only each chat's latest message is considered per poll, so rapid bursts may be coalesced.
  • Roles — For New Message, select which message roles to emit. An empty selection includes all roles; select User to react only to customer messages.

Output shape

A list of items containing newly detected chats or messages, each represented as JSON.

The first scheduled poll records the current items and emits no output; later polls emit items with a createdAt timestamp that are newer than the saved timestamp, plus unseen IDs at the same timestamp. Items without createdAt are ignored. In manual mode, returns only the latest detected item, or no output if none is found. New Chat polls fetch up to 100 chats; New Message polls fetch up to 100 messages for a specified chat, or the latest message for each of up to 100 chats when Chat ID is empty. Requires Happ API credentials.
