Instagram Create/Publish MediaInstall

Summary

Create or publish media content to Instagram based on the selected action.

Inputs

• action (required) — Choose which Instagram action to perform (Create Container or Publish Container).
• igId (required) — Instagram Business/Professional Account ID.
• mediaKind (required) — Type of media to upload (Image or Reel).
• fileUrl (required) — Public, direct URL to the media file.
• caption — Caption text for the media.
• waitReady — Poll until Reel processing is completed before auto-publishing (only for Reels).
• autoPublish — Automatically publish the created container if enabled.
• maxWaitSeconds — Maximum time to wait for Reel processing (only applicable if Wait Until Ready is enabled).
• containerId (required) — Container ID returned from the Create action (used when the action is Publish).

Output shape

an object containing the success status and media ID of the published content, or the ID of the created container.

Returns an object with details of the action performed, including an error message if the action fails.
