n8n-nodes-jinkoup
JinkoUp nodes for n8n: create, update, complete and search
tasks, add comments, and start workflows when tasks or comments change.
API access (and so this node) needs a paid JinkoUp plan. On the Free plan every call returns
"API access needs a paid JinkoUp plan".
Install
In n8n (self-hosted, or n8n Cloud once the node is verified):
- Open Settings → Community nodes → Install a community node.
- Enter
n8n-nodes-jinkoup, tick the risk acknowledgement and click Install. - Add a JinkoUp or JinkoUp Trigger node to a workflow.
From the command line (self-hosted, e.g. Docker): npm install n8n-nodes-jinkoup inside~/.n8n/nodes, then restart n8n.
Credentials
- In JinkoUp open Settings → AI → Personal access tokens, name the token (e.g. "n8n") and click
Create token. Copy it right away (it starts withjku_). - In n8n create a JinkoUp API credential and paste the token. Leave Base URL as
https://jinkoup.com.
The token acts as you, with your access, in the workspace where you created it. Private projects stay
private. Revoke it any time in the same settings page.
JinkoUp node
| Resource | Operations |
|---|---|
| Task | Create, Get, Get Many (list or search), Update, Complete, Reopen, Delete |
| Comment | Add (with @email mentions), Get Many (one task's comments, or recent comments) |
| Project | Get Many (with stages and open-task counts) |
| Stage | Get Many (a project's stages, in order) |
| Member | Get Many (people in the workspace) |
- Create takes a title, an optional project (empty = your My Work), and stage, assignee, due date,
priority, description or parent task (to create a subtask). - Update changes title, description, stage, assignee, due date (or clears it), priority (or
clears it) and completed. Empty fields are left as they are. - Get Many filters by project, assignee (me, an email, or nobody), status (open / completed /
all), due window, sort and "updated since", and pages through results with Return All. A
Search filter finds tasks by words in the title or description (up to 100 results). - Projects, stages and people are dropdowns, or use an expression for an ID.
- The node can be used as a tool by n8n AI Agent nodes.
JinkoUp Trigger
Pick one or more events and, optionally, one project:
| Event | When |
|---|---|
Task Created (task.created) |
A task is created. |
Task Updated (task.updated) |
Title, description, due date, priority, assignee, stage, subtasks or files changed. |
Task Completed (task.completed) |
A task is completed. |
Task Reopened (task.reopened) |
A completed task is reopened. |
Task Deleted (task.deleted) |
A task is deleted (the output has the task as it was). |
Comment Added (comment.created) |
Someone comments on a task. |
Activating the workflow creates a JinkoUp webhook for n8n's URL; deactivating removes it. Each
delivery is checked against its X-JinkoUp-Signature (HMAC-SHA256) and rejected when the signature is
wrong or older than 5 minutes. The output has event, actor, task, and change (for updates) orcomment (for comments).
JinkoUp only delivers to public https URLs, so n8n must be reachable from the internet (n8n Cloud,
or self-hosted with WEBHOOK_URL set to its public address). A plain http://localhost n8n can't
receive JinkoUp events.
