Summary

Searches Nextdoor for a required business category or keyword in a required city or neighborhood by starting an Apify scraper run. On success, retrieves the run’s dataset; demo mode, recommendation inclusion, result limit, and wait timeout are configurable.

Inputs

• Search Query (required) — Business category or keyword to search for, such as “plumber” or “restaurant”.
• Location (required) — City or neighborhood to search in.
• Max Results — Maximum results requested from the scraper; defaults to 50.
• Include Recommendations — Whether to include business recommendations; defaults to true.
• Demo Mode — Whether to use sample data instead of actual scraping; defaults to false.
• Timeout (seconds) — How long the Apify run request waits for completion; defaults to 300 seconds.

Output shape

One output item per input item when the run request succeeds.

For a SUCCEEDED run, the item contains runId, status, resultCount, and results (the dataset items). For any other run status, it contains runId, status, and a message indicating scraping did not complete successfully. Requires Apify API credentials. Request errors are raised as a node operation error.
