n8n-nodes-kintone

An n8n community node for working with Kintone records.

Install

In self-hosted n8n, open Settings → Community Nodes → Install, enter n8n-nodes-kintone, accept the community-node risk notice, and install the package.

This is an unverified community node and is intended for self-hosted n8n instances.

Credentials and setup

The node uses n8n's built-in Header Auth credential so existing Kintone API-token credentials can be reused.

  1. Create or select a Header Auth credential with header name X-Cybozu-API-Token and the Kintone app token as its value. For APIs that require tokens from multiple apps, enter the comma-separated tokens in the value, as supported by Kintone.
  2. In the node, enter the Kintone base URL (for example, https://example.cybozu.com) and the App ID.
  3. Choose a resource and operation. Fields can be selected from the app schema after the URL, App ID, and credential are configured.

Supported operations

  • Record: get, create, and update one record.
  • Records: get many with a query builder or raw Kintone query, cursor pagination, create many, update many, and upsert.

The node supports dynamic field mapping and reports Kintone API error context. Guest Spaces, user/password authentication, file operations, deletion, comments, and process management are not currently supported.

Updating subtable rows

For Record → Update, the Subtable Changes section can edit multiple fields in one existing row, add a row, or delete an existing row. For Edit Row and Add Row, add one Field and Value entry for each field you want to set, then choose each field from the searchable field list. New rows are appended to the end of the subtable. Deleting multiple rows requires one Delete Row change per row.

The node fetches the latest record before applying changes, retains IDs for rows that remain, and sends the record revision with the update.

Compatibility

Requires a self-hosted n8n instance that supports community nodes. Install and use community nodes only if you trust the package publisher and its code.
