Documentation

n8n-nodes-mailstream

n8n community node for Mailstream — send postcards and letters, manage mailing lists and addresses, and react to mail events from inside n8n workflows.

Jira: tracked under epic MS-314.

Status

Foundation slice (v0.1.0):

  • MailstreamApi credential (Bearer token + base URL, tested against GET /print-points/balance)
  • Postcard: create / get / get many
  • Letter: create / get / get many
  • Idempotency-Key (UUID v4) sent on every create so an n8n retry never double-mails

Planned (see Jira MS-316 → MS-321):

  • Mailing List, Address, Radius Mailer, Print Points resources
  • loadOptions dropdowns for artworks, return addresses, mailing lists
  • Mailstream Trigger node (webhook, depends on the Webhook Server epic MS-247) with polling fallback
  • npm publish + n8n verified-community-node submission

Credentials

  1. In Mailstream, go to Settings → API Keys and create a personal access token.
  2. In n8n, create Mailstream API credentials and paste the token.
  3. Base URL defaults to https://my.mailstream.app/api/v1.
