Meta Publisher JSON Generator

Summary

Builds publishing job payloads for selected Instagram, Facebook Page, and Threads operations from the configured fields. It processes each incoming item independently and returns a JSON object containing the generated jobs and their count; it does not publish them.

Inputs

  • Resources and operations (required) — Select one or more platforms in Resources, then choose operations for each selected platform. Only selected platforms and operations produce jobs.
  • Platform IDs (required) — Provide IG User ID for Instagram jobs, Page ID for Facebook jobs, and Threads User ID for Threads jobs. With Skip Missing enabled, jobs missing their platform ID are omitted; otherwise the node creates an operation error.
  • Media URLs and content — Use Image URL (Generic), Video URL (Generic), and Caption for applicable jobs. Instagram image publishing can use Feed Image URL with the generic image as fallback; Instagram stories can use their specific story URL or the corresponding generic URL. Instagram reels can use Reel Video URL or fall back to Video URL. Facebook and Threads jobs use the generic URLs. Add operation-specific text, title, description, alt text, cover image, or reel settings where relevant.
  • Carousel items — For Instagram or Threads carousel operations, configure at least two items with a type and URL. Instagram items can include captions and user tags; Threads items can include alt text and captions.
  • User tags — For Instagram image, video, and reel jobs, add usernames with X and Y positions from 0 to 1. Instagram carousel items can also have tags.
  • Skip Missing — Defaults to true. Skips jobs without required IDs and incomplete carousel jobs; when false, those conditions create operation errors.
  • Include Example Set — Defaults to false. When enabled, supplies example URLs and text for missing fields to illustrate payloads, including two example items for an otherwise empty carousel.

Output shape

One output item per input item, each with JSON fields data (an array of generated job objects) and count (the number of jobs).

An item with no eligible selected jobs returns an empty data array and count: 0. The node only generates payloads; another node must consume them to perform publishing.
