Installation
Follow the n8n community nodes installation guide: https://docs.n8n.io/integrations/community-nodes/installation/
In short: in your n8n instance, go to Settings -> Community Nodes -> Install, and enter the package name:
n8n-nodes-moka
Operations
The node exposes three resources, matching the read-only endpoints of the Moka Dealer API:
| Resource | Operation | Moka Endpoint | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transaction | Get Many | GetPaymentTrxList | List transactions within a date range |
| Transaction | Get Payment Details | GetDealerPaymentTrxDetailList | Get a payment with all related transactions |
| Payment | Get Many | GetPaymentList | List payments within a date range |
| Card | Get BIN Information | GetBankCardInformation | Retrieve bank and card information from a BIN |
| Card | Calculate Payment Amount | DoCalcPaymentAmount | Calculate the amount charged to the card |
Get Many Transactions supports an optional Return Mode: Only New Transactions. When enabled, the node remembers the last transaction date it saw (stored in the workflow's static data) and only returns transactions newer than that on subsequent runs -- useful for polling workflows without implementing your own deduplication logic.
Credentials
You'll need a Moka United dealer account (test or production) with API access. Moka provides:
- Dealer Code
- Username
- Password
These three values are used to automatically compute the CheckKey (a SHA-256 hash) required by every Moka API request -- you never need to compute or enter it manually.
You'll also need to set the Base URL:
- Test environment: https://service.refmokaunited.com
- Production environment: contact Moka United for your production URL
Refer to Moka United's developer portal for how to obtain API credentials: https://developer.mokaunited.com/
Compatibility
Requires Node.js 20.19-24.x, per n8n's own requirements.
Usage
- Add the Moka node to your workflow.
- Select or create a Moka API credential.
- Choose a Resource (Transaction, Payment, or Card) and an Operation.
- Fill in the required parameters (date range, Payment ID, BIN number, etc. depending on the operation).
If you're new to n8n, refer to n8n's "Try it out" guide to learn how workflows work: https://docs.n8n.io/try-it-out/
Examples
The examples/ folder contains three ready-to-import workflows. Each example has been tested against the official Moka United test environment.
| File | What it does |
|---|---|
| examples/moka-google-sheets-sync.json | Pulls transactions and appends them as rows to a Google Sheet. Good starting point for simple record-keeping. |
| examples/moka-slack-alerts.json | Polls for new transactions every 10 minutes and posts a Slack message for successful payments and refunds/cancellations. |
| examples/moka-payment-lookup.json | Looks up a single payment's full detail (summary + all linked transactions) and logs it to a Google Sheet. Useful for manual "did this payment go through?" checks. |
To use an example: download the file, then in n8n go to Workflows -> Import from File. Each workflow includes a sticky note with setup instructions. You'll need to select your own credentials after importing -- no credentials are bundled in these files.
