Documentation

n8n-nodes-morninginvoice

An n8n community node for the Morning (Greeninvoice) API — Israel's leading invoicing & business-management platform. Covers 52 operations across documents, items, clients, payments, suppliers, expenses, reference data and partners, generated from Morning's official OpenAPI specification (v2.0.0).

Installation

Follow the community nodes installation guide:

  1. In n8n go to Settings → Community Nodes → Install.
  2. Enter n8n-nodes-morninginvoice and install.

Or on a self-hosted instance:

npm install n8n-nodes-morninginvoice

Credentials

Create a Morning (Greeninvoice) API credential:

Field Value
Environment Production or Sandbox
Client ID API Key Client ID (Morning: Settings → Company → API Keys)
Client Secret API Key Client Secret

Token handling is fully automatic: the credential exchanges your client ID/secret for an access token (POST /idp/v1/oauth/token, valid 1 hour) and refreshes it transparently when it expires — you never handle bearer tokens yourself.

Field conventions

  • Required API fields appear as top-level node parameters; everything else is under Additional Fields.

  • Nested structures documented as objects/arrays in the Morning docs (e.g. client, income, payment, discount, supplier, accountingClassification) are JSON parameters — pass a JSON object/array (or an expression producing one). Example income value:

    [{ "description": "Consulting", "quantity": 1, "price": 100, "currency": "ILS", "vatType": 0 }]

  • Numeric codes (document type, vatType, paymentType, statuses…) follow the tables in the official docs; each parameter's tooltip carries the field description.

Notes

  • Upload Expense File – Step 2 (multipart POST of the file to the presigned S3 URL returned by Get Upload URL) is not included as an operation; use n8n's HTTP Request node with Form-Data body to send the file to the returned URL/fields.
  • Reference data is served from Morning's public cache API and needs no authentication (the node handles this automatically).

Development

npm install
npm run build # tsc + icon copy → dist/

The resource/operation descriptions are generated from Morning's OpenAPI spec (https://developers.morning.co/docs/openapi.bundled.json).
