Summary

Send money to a recipient's mobile phone using MTN Mobile Money by specifying the recipient's phone number, amount, and currency, with optional transaction metadata.

Inputs

• Phone Number (required) — Recipient phone number in MSISDN format, e.g., 250788123456.
• Amount (required) — The amount of money to send to the recipient.
• Currency (required) — The currency code of the amount, such as RWF, UGX, or XAF.
• External ID — Your internal transaction ID; defaults to current timestamp in milliseconds.
• Payer Message — A message that will be visible to the payer (sender).
• Payee Note — A note for the payee (recipient) to accompany the payment.

Output shape

a list of JSON objects, each representing a transfer result corresponding to each input item

Each output includes success status, a generated referenceId for the transaction, amount, currency, phone number, and externalId. If the operation fails and Continue On Fail is enabled, the error message is returned for that item.
