Installation

1. Install the package:

npm install n8n-nodes-n8ntools-tiktok-enhanced

2. Add the node to your N8N instance:
   • Go to Settings > Community Nodes
   • Click "Install a community node"
   • Enter: n8n-nodes-n8ntools-tiktok-enhanced

Configuration

Credentials

The node supports two types of credentials:

OAuth2 API (Recommended)

• Client Key: Your TikTok App Client Key
• Client Secret: Your TikTok App Client Secret
• Access Token: OAuth2 Access Token
• Scope: Required permissions (comma-separated)

API Key

• Access Token: TikTok API Access Token
• Client Key: Your TikTok App Client Key
• Client Secret: Your TikTok App Client Secret

Required Permissions

For full functionality, ensure your TikTok App has the following permissions:

• user.info.basic - Basic user information
• video.list - List user videos
• video.publish - Publish videos
• video.comment - Comment on videos
• user.follow - Follow/unfollow users
• hashtag.info - Get hashtag information
• music.info - Get music information

Error Handling

The node includes comprehensive error handling:

• API rate limiting (429 errors)
• Authentication errors (401/403)
• Invalid parameters (400 errors)
• Network connectivity issues
• TikTok API specific errors

Rate Limits

TikTok API has rate limits that vary by endpoint:

• User Access Tokens: 1000 calls per hour
• App Access Tokens: 2000 calls per hour
• Video Upload: 10 uploads per hour per user
