Installation
Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.
Operations
- AD to BS — convert a Gregorian date to Bikram Sambat. Returns
bsYear,bsMonth,bsMonthName,bsDay,bsWeekday,bsFormatted(YYYY-MM-DD), andbsFormattedLong(e.g.Wednesday, 15 Baisakh 2081). - BS to AD — convert a Bikram Sambat date to Gregorian. Accepts
YYYY-MM-DD,YYYY/MM/DD,DD-MM-YYYY, orDD/MM/YYYY. ReturnsadDate(ISO date),adYear,adMonth,adDay. - Get Current BS Date — returns today's date in both BS and AD fields, no input required.
All operations support an Output Language option (English or Nepali/Devanagari) that affects the formatted string and name fields in the output.
Supported date range: BS 2000–2090 (AD 1943-04-14 to roughly 2034). Dates outside this range return a clear error rather than silently wrong output.
Compatibility
Tested against n8n 2.22.0+. Built with @n8n/node-cli; no external runtime dependencies (the BS↔AD calendar data is bundled directly in the package).
Usage
Add the Nepali Date Converter node anywhere you need to convert between the two calendar systems — for example, formatting dates for Nepali fiscal-year reporting, converting a BS date entered by a user into an AD date for scheduling, or displaying a workflow's run date in the Nepali calendar.
