Summary

Retrieve the current shadow data value associated with a specified shadow alias from NETPIE.

Inputs

• Alias (required) — The shadow alias to retrieve the value for (e.g., 'led').
• Simplify — Toggle to return a simplified response containing only the alias and its value instead of the full raw shadow data object.
• Options.Timeout — Timeout for the HTTP request in milliseconds (default 15000 ms).

Output shape

a single JSON object per input item, containing either the simplified { alias, value } or the full raw data response from NETPIE for the requested shadow alias.

If 'Simplify' is enabled, the output JSON includes only the alias and its resolved value. Otherwise, it returns the entire shadow data response object. On failure (e.g., invalid alias or credential issues), the node returns an error object containing a message and status code unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, in which case error details are returned per item.
