Overview

This package provides n8n nodes to interact with the Omnichannel Agent API, enabling automation of WhatsApp conversations, operator assignment, and message handling. It is intended for n8n workflow builders who need to manage omnichannel messaging, assign conversations to operators, and react to inbound messages via webhooks.

Omnichannel

The Omnichannel node offers actions to retrieve operators, fetch and update conversations, assign conversations to operators, and send or list messages within the Omnichannel platform.

• Operator · Get All — Retrieves all operators from the Omnichannel Agent API.
• Conversation · Get — Retrieves a single conversation by its unique identifier from the Omnichannel platform.
• Conversation · Update Status — Updates the status of an omnichannel conversation.
• Conversation · Assign — Assign a conversation to an operator.
• Message · Get Many — Retrieves messages from a conversation via the Omnichannel Agent API.
• Message · Send — Send a message (text, image, document, audio, or WhatsApp template) to a conversation.

Omnichannel Trigger

The Omnichannel Trigger node listens for webhooks from the Omnichannel Agent API when new unassigned messages arrive, allowing workflows to start based on inbound messages and optionally verify the HMAC‑SHA256 signature.

• Default · Default — Receive webhooks from Omnichannel for new unassigned messages (or test) and optionally validate the HMAC‑SHA256 signature.

Credentials

The nodes require credentials for the Omnichannel Agent API (e.g., an API token) to authenticate requests.

Installation

Install as an n8n community node: in n8n, open Settings → Community nodes → Install and enter n8n-nodes-omnichannel. See the n8n community nodes installation guide.
