Documentation

n8n-nodes-openfda-drug-scraper

An n8n community node that runs the openFDA Drug Scraper — Recalls & Adverse Events Apify
actor directly inside your workflow. Scrape FDA drug data from the official openFDA API — recall/enforcement reports and FAERS adverse-event reports. Filter by drug name, raw query and date window. Keyless API. Schedule as a pharmacovigilance/recall monitor. Pay per result.

The actor runs on your own Apify account and usage — this node never embeds anyone else's token.

Installation

  1. In n8n: Settings → Community Nodes → Install.
  2. Enter the package name n8n-nodes-openfda-drug-scraper and confirm.
  3. Get a free Apify API token at console.apify.com → Settings → Integrations.

Usage

  1. Add the openFDA Drug Scraper — Recalls & Adverse Events node to your workflow.
  2. In the node's Credentials, add your Apify API token (or connect via OAuth2).
  3. Fill the actor's input fields (the node surfaces them as a form) and run.

To run on a schedule, put a Schedule Trigger in front of the node.
