Advanced Features

  • šŸ”„ Error Handling: Comprehensive error messages with troubleshooting steps
  • āœ… Input Validation: Parameter validation prevents API errors
  • 🌐 Dynamic Endpoints: Automatic region detection and endpoint selection
  • šŸ“Š Consistent Responses: Standardized data formats across all nodes
  • šŸ”’ Secure Authentication: OVH API v1 signature implementation
  • ā±ļø Clock Drift Tolerance: Requests are signed against OVH's own clock (/auth/time), so a host whose clock is off no longer fails with QUERY_TIME_OUT / "Query out of time"
  • 🧰 Usable as AI Tool: Every node can be attached to an AI Agent

Downloading an Invoice

Account → Bill → Download returns the invoice PDF as binary data. Pick the
output field with Put Output File in Field (default data), then chain a
Write Binary File, Google Drive, or e-mail node.

The node resolves the invoice's pdfUrl itself — OVH has no
/me/bill/{billId}/download route, which is why earlier versions failed with a
404 on the bill ID.

Subsidiary and Currency

Order → Cart → Create, Order → Cart Item → Add and
Order → Domain Check → Check Availability all expose an OVH Subsidiary
field. Prices and availability are returned in that subsidiary's currency, so
set it to your own country instead of leaving the default FR / EUR.

šŸ› ļø Development

Publishing

The package is published from GitHub Actions with an
npm provenance
statement (.github/workflows/publish.yml), as required for n8n community node
verification. Set the NPM_TOKEN repository secret and publish by creating a
GitHub release.

šŸ·ļø Version History

Unreleased

  • šŸ› Fix: Account → Bill → Download no longer hits the non-existent /me/bill/{billId}/download route; it resolves the invoice pdfUrl and returns the PDF as binary data (#2)
  • šŸ› Fix: requests are signed against OVH's server clock, removing spurious 400 QUERY_TIME_OUT / "Query out of time" errors (#2)
  • šŸ› Fix: ovhSubsidiary is no longer hardcoded to FR in Domain Check and in the plan/configuration dropdowns (#3)
  • ā™»ļø Request signing moved into the ovhApi credential; all nodes now go through httpRequestWithAuthentication
  • ✨ All 13 nodes are registered, marked usableAsTool, ship light/dark icons and emit pairedItem links
  • āœ… Passes npx @n8n/scan-community-package static checks (#4)
