n8n-nodes-pitchbook-company-api
An n8n community node that collects structured PitchBook private company data from a company profile URL: firmographics, funding and deal history, investors, and competitors. It is backed by the PitchBook Company API on Apify and bills per company returned, so there are no subscriptions and no minimums.

What it does
Give the node a PitchBook company profile URL, and it returns one item per company with the name, description, website, HQ location, industry, employees, founding year, ownership and financing status, the latest deal, financing rounds, competitors, and more. It also works as an AI Agent tool, so an agent can look up a company on demand.
- Collect structured data from any PitchBook company profile URL
- Get funding and deal data: latest deal type, date, and amount, plus financing rounds
- Read firmographics: industry, employees, founding year, ownership status
- Choose how much data to return per company: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields

Operations
Company > Get collects structured data for one PitchBook company profile URL.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Company URL | A PitchBook company profile URL, for example https://pitchbook.com/profiles/company/10874-98. Required. |
| Output | How much data to return: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields. |
To collect many companies, feed the node a list of input items (one URL each); it returns one output item per company.
Output
Each company is returned as its own n8n item. The API returns more than ten fields per company, so the Output parameter lets you choose how much to return:
- Simplified (default): a compact object with
result_type,name,pitchbookId,description,website,hqLocation,primaryIndustry,employees,foundedYear,ownershipStatus,financingStatus,latestDealType,latestDealDate,latestDealAmount,financingRounds,competitors,companyUrl,summary, anderror_message. This mode is also used automatically when the node runs as an AI Agent tool, to keep responses small. - Raw: every field the API returns for each company, using the original field names below.
- Selected Fields: pick exactly which fields to include.
