Posthawk Trigger (Webhook)

Automatically triggers your n8n workflow when email events occur:

  • Send — Email accepted by SES
  • Delivery — Email delivered to recipient
  • Bounce — Email bounced
  • Complaint — Recipient marked as spam
  • Open — Email opened
  • Click — Link clicked
  • Reject — Email rejected by SES
  • Delivery Delay — Delivery delayed

The trigger node automatically creates and manages webhook endpoints in your Posthawk account.

Setup

  1. Install this node in your n8n instance
  2. Add your Posthawk API key in the credentials
  3. If self-hosting Posthawk, update the Base URL in credentials

Credentials

  • API Key: Your Posthawk API key (find it in Dashboard → API Keys)
  • Base URL: https://api.posthawk.dev (or your self-hosted URL)
