Documentation

n8n-nodes-postzivo

This is an n8n community node for Postzivo — publish and schedule social media posts from your n8n workflows.

Postzivo is a white-label deployment of Aidelly and exposes the same Public API at https://app.postzivo.com/api/public/v1.

Supported platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Bluesky, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Google Business Profile, Mastodon.

Installation

Community nodes (recommended)

  1. In n8n, go to Settings → Community Nodes → Install.
  2. Enter n8n-nodes-postzivo and install.

Manual install

cd ~/.n8n/custom-extensions # or your N8N_CUSTOM_EXTENSIONS folder
npm install n8n-nodes-postzivo

Then restart n8n.

Credentials

  1. In Postzivo, generate a Public API key under Settings → API keys.
  2. In n8n, create a new Postzivo API credential:
    • API Key — the key from step 1.
    • Workspace ID (optional) — the workspace UUID the key should operate in. Required when the API key can access multiple workspaces; the node shows the available IDs in a clear error if you skip it. Run the Workspace: List operation once to discover them. Single-workspace keys are auto-detected.
    • Base URL — defaults to https://app.postzivo.com/api/public/v1. Change only if you use another white-label deployment (e.g. https://app.aidelly.ai/api/public/v1).

Operations

Resource Operation Description
Analytics Summary High-level metrics (impressions, engagements, top posts) for a time window
Analytics Unified Cross-platform metrics for a date range (defaults to last 30 days)
Post Create Publish immediately or schedule for later (media, hashtags, first comment, threads, platform-specific options)
Post Bulk Create Create up to 50 posts in one call (raw JSON)
Post Get Get a post by ID — poll this to confirm delivery (status: completed + provider_post_id)
Post List List posts with platform/status/date filters (supports pagination)
Post Update Reschedule or change a scheduled post
Post Cancel Cancel a scheduled post
Post Analytics Views, impressions, likes, comments, shares, and saves for a published post
Media Upload Upload an image/video by public URL, Base64, or data URL — returns media_id and read_url
Account List List postable accounts (Pages, company pages, locations)
Workspace List List workspaces accessible with the API key

Usage example: post to social media

  1. Add a Postzivo node, resource Post, operation Create.
  2. Pick the Platform, the target Account (or leave empty for the default account), and enter the post Text.
  3. Optionally attach images/videos under Options → Media (public URLs, or read_url from a Media: Upload node placed before).
  4. Set Schedule At for scheduled posts, or leave empty to publish immediately.

Delivery is asynchronous

Create returning success means Postzivo accepted the post, not that the network has published it. To confirm publication, add a second Postzivo node with Post: Get and check for status: completed and a non-null provider_post_id (use a Wait node in between if needed).

Notes

  • Idempotency: all write endpoints require an Idempotency-Key header. The node generates a random UUID automatically; you can supply your own via the options for cross-retry safety.
  • Pinterest: pass the board id via Options → Platform-Specific Options (JSON), e.g. {"board_id": "..."}. Discover board ids through the API's Pinterest boards endpoint.
  • Instagram Reels/Stories, TikTok drafts, Facebook carousels, Google Business posts: all supported through Platform-Specific Options (JSON) — see the Aidelly API docs (identical API surface).
  • Responses follow the { success, data | error, request_id } envelope; the node outputs the data portion.

Compatibility

Tested with n8n >= 1.0. Requires Node.js >= 18.10.

Development

git clone <repo> && cd n8n-nodes-postzivo
npm install
npm run build

To test locally, link the package into your n8n custom-extensions directory or use n8n start with N8N_CUSTOM_EXTENSIONS pointing at this folder.
