n8n-nodes-pricepirate
This is an n8n community node for the PricePirate Price API. It gets prices, shop offers and product details for EANs (GTINs) or marketplace product IDs from Idealo, Amazon, Google Shopping, bol, Klarna and PriceRunner across Europe and beyond.
n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation
In n8n, open Settings → Community Nodes, select Install and enter n8n-nodes-pricepirate. See n8n's community nodes installation guide for details.
Credentials
The node uses one credential, PricePirate Price API, with a single API Key field.
- Sign in to the PricePirate dashboard with your business email. New accounts can claim 100 free credits once, without payment details.
- Create an API key and copy it. It's shown only once.
- In n8n, create a PricePirate Price API credential and paste the key. n8n checks it against your account.

Operations
| Resource | Operation | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Offer | Get offers by EAN | Starts a price job, waits for it and returns one item per shop offer |
| Product | Get product details by EAN | Starts a price job, waits for it and returns one item per EAN with name, brand, images, ratings and price range |
| Job | Start price job | Starts a job and returns its job_id straight away |
| Job | Get job results | Gets the results of an earlier job as offers, product details or the raw job |
| Account | Get account | Returns your credit balance, limits and enabled marketplaces |
Job parameters:
- Marketplace: Amazon, Bol, Google Shopping, Idealo, Klarna or PriceRunner.
- Country: the countries the selected marketplace supports, such as Germany, France or the United Kingdom.
- Search By: EAN, or the marketplace's own Product ID (an ASIN on Amazon). Klarna and PriceRunner support EANs only.
- EANs / Product IDs: one value, several separated by commas or new lines, or an array mapped from earlier nodes.
- Include Detail and ZIP Code: Amazon only.
- Simplify (on by default): returns the 10 most useful fields. Turn it off for every field.
- Options → Max Wait (Minutes): default 15. Skip Queries Without Offers: off by default.
Batching: the node collects the EANs from all input items, removes duplicates and sends them as one job of up to 1,000 queries. A sheet with 500 rows becomes one job, not 500. Each output item stays linked to the input item it came from.
Output
Field names match the API docs one-to-one.
Get offers by EAN returns one item per offer:

An EAN without offers (not_found or error) still returns one item with its status, error and errorCode and empty offer fields, so a row in your sheet never disappears silently. Turn on Skip Queries Without Offers to leave those out.
Get product details by EAN returns one item per EAN with query, status, error, errorCode, id, name, url, ean, brand, description, image_urls, categories, review_rating, review_count, price_min, price_avg, price_max, offers_count and platform_data.
Get job results can also return the Raw Job exactly as the API sends it.
Example workflows
Compare prices for a product list: Google Sheets (rows with an ean column) → PricePirate Price API (Offer → Get offers by EAN, EANs = {{ $json.ean }}) → Google Sheets (append rows). You get one sheet row per shop offer.
Daily lowest price check: Schedule Trigger → Google Sheets → PricePirate Price API (Product → Get product details by EAN) → IF (price_min below your price) → Slack or email.
Large batches: PricePirate Price API (Job → Start price job) → Wait (5 minutes) → PricePirate Price API (Job → Get job results, Job ID = {{ $json.job_id }}).
How jobs and credits work
- Each EAN or product ID costs 1 credit, charged when the job starts. Queries that end in
error, and failed jobs, are refunded automatically when the node fetches the final results. - Most jobs finish in 1–2 minutes and some take up to about 15. The node polls every 5 seconds. If Max Wait runs out, the node stops with the
job_id. Fetch the results later with Get job results: they're kept for about 1 hour after the job finishes. - If your account reaches its concurrency or daily limit, the API refuses the job before charging anything. The node waits and retries when the API says how long to wait.
Compatibility
Tested with n8n 2.x. It needs no external dependencies and works on n8n Cloud and self-hosted n8n.
