n8n-nodes-redphonr
redphonr is a human-in-the-loop escalation platform for AI agents. When your agent hits a decision it shouldn't make alone — a destructive action, an ambiguous instruction, a high-stakes output — it calls redphonr. A human gets notified via Slack, email, SMS, or voice call, reviews the request, and the agent continues with their answer.
This package adds redphonr as a native n8n integration, so you can build human-approval steps directly into your n8n workflows.
What you can build
- Approval gate — pause a workflow until a human approves or denies an action
- Decision branch — let a human pick between options and route the workflow accordingly
- Output verification — have a human review AI-generated content before it's sent or stored
- Form input — collect structured data from a human mid-workflow
- Handoff — transfer control from an automated workflow to a human operator
- Alert — fire an urgent escalation and get a human on the phone within seconds
Nodes
Redphonr (action node)
Three resources, covering the full redphonr API.
Alert
| Operation | Description |
|---|---|
| Send | Fire an escalation alert via the human's configured flow (email → SMS → voice → Slack) |
| Get Status | Check whether the alert has been acknowledged |
Flow
| Operation | Description |
|---|---|
| List | List all escalation flows configured for a user |
Request
| Operation | Description |
|---|---|
| Create | Create a human approval / decision request |
| Get | Fetch a single request by ID |
| List | List requests, optionally filtered by status |
| Respond | Submit a decision for a pending request |
Redphonr Trigger (polling trigger)
Fires your workflow when a new pending request arrives. Filters by request type (approval, ambiguity, verification, input, handoff). Uses n8n's polling mechanism — no webhook setup required.
