Community trigger node for RSS and Atom feeds with a configurable interval below one minute.

Features

  • Polls RSS/Atom feeds from inside the n8n process.
  • Default interval: 2 seconds; minimum: 1 second.
  • Timeout and bounded retries with exponential backoff.
  • Conditional requests using ETag and Last-Modified when the server supports them.
  • Emits only new entries after the initial baseline.
  • Prevents overlapping requests and closes its timer cleanly when the workflow stops.

Install

Install n8n-nodes-rsshub-fast-trigger from n8n Community Nodes, then restart n8n if your deployment requires it.

Important

This node polls the feed; RSSHub does not push events to n8n. The effective latency also depends on RSSHub's cache and the source website. Use a responsible interval and avoid running multiple copies of the same trigger.
